Prairie Wood Workshop is a small, artisan studio on five peaceful acres located 20 minutes southeast of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Formerly known as Bill Edgar Woodworks, Prairie Wood Workshop’s Bill Edgar and Martha Hakenkamp combine fine woodworking, custom refinishing, and thoughtful remodeling projects with a creative, personal touch. Bill brings decades of craftsmanship and design experience; Martha pairs her love of antiques, nature and connection with skilled refinishing and the organizational heart of the business.

Together, they help customers restore beloved pieces, refresh lived-in spaces, and bring new ideas to life with care, creativity, and connection to the spaces most cherished.
